Esign Specify where to sign button not working

When I go to Esign and press the button “Specify where to sign” button it says. However Esign works when I click “More Options” above the “Specify where to sign” button is.

It loads and gets stuck on 72% and say’s this error.

“File could not be sent due to an error. Please check your proxy settings and try again after some time”

I don’t have a proxy setup. I’ve tried uninstalling / reinstalled acrobat. Tried on a hotspot connection and that fails too. Tried a brand new computer. Installed creative cloud and adobe and get the same error.

Ensured I was on the latest version  26.001.21529

    Hi Phat1125,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble caused.

As mentioned, the issue occurs when you click on “Specify where to sign”. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

    1. Repair the application installation. In Acrobat, go to Menu >  Help > Repair Installation (Windows only).

    1. If you are using a VPN, try disabling it.

    2. Check if you can send the document via the Acrobat Web account.

    • Open the Acrobat Web account.

    • Sign in using the Adobe ID.

    • Go to E-Sign  > Request Signature.

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Meenakshi
