Dears,

With Acrobat DC 64 Bits, I have disable pProtectedMode (i.e: Set to 0 ) in Regedit

(pProtectedMode set to 0 for Acrobat and Reader), µ

But I sill can't start Enfocus Pitstop Pro 2022.1 on acrobat DC 64 Bits ;-( I receive below error message :

"To be able to use Pitstop Pro or Certified PDF, you need to disable Proceted Mode in the security preferences of Adobe Acrobat"

Any idea is welcome 😉

Thx a lot,

Frédéric

Did you check the option was off in the user interface (Acrobat Preferences, Security (Enhanced) section)? Please show a screen shot of this Preferences panel.

Thank you, After having installed Acrobat DC 64 Bits, this option is indeed checked and by the way grey.

I can't uncheck this option in Normal User and can't neither with Administrator permissions.

So the workaround we found in december 2022 was to set the following register key to 0 (bProtectedMode):

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockdown

So it was working fine in december 2022, I could use enfocus add-on successfully, but in January 2023, something might have changed with Acrobat because setting this bProtectedMode flag to 0 in regedit doesn't change anything.

Please find the screenshot attached.

Any idea is welcome, many thanks to all
