Question

Exported CAD drawings cause Acrobat to sporadically become unresponsive

Multiple computers

Newest version of Acrobat DC

Issue only seems to happen with drawings exported from CAD programs but Acrobat will become unresponsive after 10-15 seconds of scrolling through the documents. It never crashes tho, just switches between being unresponsive and not (the "not" phase it still isn't usable/can't interact with the program, just Windows doesn't report it as unresponsive)

Tried disabling accessibility options, all comments options, protected mode, rendering options, clean install

Created diagnostic log 9550e1b6-fd48-45b3-9d9e-e9d818508fb4 for the trouble. Any further suggestions would be appreciated.

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the experience!

We are aware of this issue, and the team is working on fix.

I have shared the diagnostic logs with the team, which should help them expedite the fix.

Requesting your kind understanding and patience while the team works on a fix.

Is there a resolution to this? I have a couple of people with this same issue.

I am also having issues with PDFs created from CAD.
