Exporting £ values to excel

When I export a table from pdf to excel, all the £ values appear as text rather than numbers, so can't be used to calculate anything. Could anyone please help?

Hi jmd,

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are facing issue when trying to convert a pdf file to excel, is that correct?

Could you let us know if you exporting pdf in Adobe Reader desktop application or online using a web browser?

Have you tried with another pdf to check if its not a file specific issue? Also, let us know how the pdf was created?

    The file was downloaded from my bank's website. I converted the file online on Adobe website.
    Could anyone please help?
