I have a PDF file that uses a font that I do not have. Is it possible to extract the font file from the PDF so I can create another document with the same font? TIA

Try67 is correct.

If you could extract the font from a PDF, it would be considered theft of intellectual property...which is the font.

It's not the complete font that's embeded into a PDF, so even if you could extract it, it would be unusuable in another program or file, missing most of the characters as well as the programming that sets the individual characters for optimal spacing.

Buy the font.

And stay out of the courtrooms.

No. You need to find the foundry that created the font and get it from them.
