Extract metadata from PDF via java

Hi,

I have a challendging case, where we need to extract symbol names and its properties from pdf.

For example, In the sample PDF image shown, we need to extract symbol names from red colored rectangles and export to excel using java or any other tool.

can anyone please help me with the script to achieve this?

Is this the only text in the file? If not, based on what should the tool identify it, as opposed to other text?

Hi,
we have huge schematics, from which data needs to be extracted. I'm able to extract data of all symbols annotations available in whole sheet.

but, our requirement is to extract symbol annotations (Eg - SQ1. TR1, HG1 etc) relating to the corresponding blocks.

Please let me know if you need any further info.
