Extremely regular OCR crashes on Mac

I am getting very regular crashes on OCR'ing newly scanned documents. I'm scanning very long books, so OCR is necessary, and crashing on the OCR step means that after scanning nearly a hundred pages at once, the app crashes before I can save my work. This has been happening for years. Very sad that it is still not fixed. I scan a lot of music textbooks. Perhaps the score excerpts are throwing it off. Regardless, I send all the in-app crash reports I can. I'm not sure what else I can do.

Very, very frustrating.
