Failed frst Launch on windows 2 x

Installed adobe acrobat on my relativly new windows PC - no error messages or issues - But it won't work!

Super laggy or the timeout window (pic below). I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but the issue persists (With more timeout than lag).

Can anyone help? Please.

Try the troubleshooting steps suggested in the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/troubleshoot-errors-freezes-reader-windows.html

If the above suggestion does not work, try reinstalling the application using the following steps:
-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html).
-Reboot the machine
-Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried changing the settings as you suggested but it did't work. Any other ideas?

It seems strange to pay for a subscription with no support other than a forum.
