Failure to operate Adode Acrobat 8.1 Professional, post total laptop crash ?

I have used Adobe for many years worldwide.  I have experienced a total crash of my Toshiba Satellite A100. The data on the hard disk has been rescued. We believe that the crash was caused by Window10 attempting to load information right into a fixed partition.  I have purchased a new Toshiba Pro R50-C-12E and copied all the rescued data, but failed to get my copy of Adobe Acrobat 8.1 Professional to operate. I have the product id [serial number removed by moderator] from the old A100.  I believe I have the original disc with the number id [serial number removed by moderator].  Both numbers are not accepted when entered.  Does anyone have a UK Telephone number for Adobe support ?  Or can anyone explain where I go from here ?

I see a moderator has removed serial numbers from your post. This is a public forum; please do not share your serial numbers publicly. Someone could just steal your software that way!

That being said, if you want to contact Adobe support, the phone number and other methods are listed here: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html (Numbers vary by region, so what shows there for me won't be what shows for you.)
