Bonjour,

    Hello!

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. We're sorry for the trouble you had.

Could you please share more details about the issue? Are you trying to add the form fields or signature fields on the Android tablet? Did you already create the form fields on desktop (Acrobat Pro), or directly on the tablet? Are you trying to send for signature via “Request e-signatures” (Adobe Acrobat/Acrobat Sign) or just add signature fields locally?

The message about AcroForm fields already being detected usually means that the PDF already contains embedded interactive form fields. In Acrobat for Android, you can fill those existing fields, but you can’t add more AcroForm fields or change the form-field structure from the mobile app.

Please note that AcroForm structure editing, adding, modifying, or removing fields, is supported in Acrobat on desktop, not on mobile. To learn more, please check this article: https://adobe.ly/4fag2Dd

If you need to add new fields to this PDF, please use Acrobat on desktop, ideally Acrobat Pro, and go to All tools > Prepare a form. From there, you can add, delete, resize, rename, and configure form fields, then save the PDF and use that updated version on mobile or send it for signature.

In the desktop form workflow, you can also use field properties to set options like required/read-only behavior, appearance, actions, and field-specific settings.

Acrobat on Android: fill/sign an existing PDF form

    • Open the PDF form > Fill & Sign from the bottom menu.

    • For text: Text box > tap where you want to add text.

    • For checkbox/radio-style marks: choose Radio button / Checkmark / Cross > tap the document.

    • For a personal signature: Signature > Add signature > draw/use image/capture > Done > tap to place.

I hope this helps, and let us know if you need any assistance.

    Regards,

    Anand Sri.
