Hello,

I have a fillable form that I am making a template of. I fill in some of the information and save it so I can make a copy and fill the rest in on a monthly basis. However, when I save the file in Adobe on my Mac and then reopen it, the informatoin is gone. It doesn't save. When I open the file in Preview, the information is there, so I know it's something to do with Adobe. Please help. This is very frustrating.

Thanks!
John

Hi John,

We are sorry for the trouble. As described the information is not saving in the PDF form

Are you opening the PDF form in a web browser? If yes, please download the file to your computer and try to open and check.

What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Adobe Acrobat DC

and make sure you have the latest version 20.009.20063 installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates.

Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

If it still doesn't work, please try to turn off the protected mode for testing and check. Go to Adobe Acrobat DC > Preferences > Enhanced Security  > Turn off the protected Mode and uncheck the enhanced security
Note: Please turn on the security after testing.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards

Amal
