fill out a form using QR code scanner

Hi all

I am trying to make a fillable PDF form where lets say I scan a QR code and the form will auto populate using the data from the QR code. Is this possible within adobe acrobat or will I need a complex third party program?

It's possible to set it up in Acrobat, but it will only work in Acrobat. It won't work in the free Reader.

Sorry, just noticed you were talking about scanning a QR code. I thought you said you wanted to generate it.

I'm not sure that's possible, sorry, unless you have a scanner and a driver that can convert QR code to a text string.

In that case you might be able to enter it into a text field, but I'm not sure about that.
