Fill & Sign not here

Hi

I have found the following problem. If you have installed Adobe Reader in the 32-bit version and then installed the Acrobabt Pro version via Creative Cloud, Acrobat Pro is broken afterwards. Because under tools, the option “fill & sign” is missing and the option to switch to the “new” design is also missing.

I have already tried the following:

  • Repair Acrobat
  • Uninstall and reinstall Acrobat
  • Change language from english to german to system to english
  • Run Acrobat cleaner
  • Run Acrobat and CC cleaner
  • Run Acrobat and CC cleaner, delete all Adobe folders in “programdata”, “program files”, “program files (x86)”, “common files”, “appdata\local, locallow, roaming” and delete all Adobe keys in “hklm:\software + syswow64” and the same in “hkcu”

So far without success. A new installation of Windows brings success. But it can’t be that you have to reinstall the system because of an Adobe Reader.

Can you give me a tip on how to solve the problem?

regards

Ok the problem was selfmade.

we have some policys for the adobe reader and acrobat pro do now copies the policy for itself.

the problem key is:

HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\DC\FeatureLockDown\cServices\

wthi the setting

bToggleFillSign = 1

when you sett it to 0 and restart acrobat pro, everything works fine.
