Hello,

I am trying to fill in a pdf (.xfa type) that has multiple text boxes and one of them in particular, if I copy or write text that should be more then one page, it dows not show up, gets hiddend, do not know the correct term, and does not automaticlly add pages to the pdf so that the text can be seen.

If this a viewing option? I tried this particular form with another pdr reader/editor and the text boxes gets correctly filled in and shows the text, even when I have so much characters that 2-3 pages are added.

Please help.

Kind regards,
Daniel

How are you filling the form? For XFA forms I would only use Adobe Acrobat or the Adobe Reader in a computer running Windows or macOS, and never any 3rd party PDF viewer, or a viewer on a mobile device. I assume that the setup that works is Adobe Acrobat/Reader on Windows/macOS, and the other configuration is something different.

I am using Adobe Acrobat dc 2022.001 continuos version, in windows, but as mentioned above that text box does not show correctly. By using Kofax , text box is ok and expands on multiple pages as I insert nore characters.

That is odd, as I describe above, it should work. The problem with XFA forms is that you cannot edit them in Acrobat, only fill them. So unless you've craeted the form and can look at debug information, it's impossible for user to figure out what's going on. You may have to get in touch with the author of the form to see if there is an updated version.
