Fillable Boxes for Digital Files - Remove Blue Box

Hi,

I have a fillable file that I want clients to use. I would like them to add in their text and once added, for the blue box to go away. Its not getting printed, just used on computer. See below - is there any way to do this?

Not if the Fields Highlighting option is enabled. To achieve that you would need to disable the built-in highlighting, replace it with an actual fill color for the fields, and then remove that when they have a value, using a script attached to each field (or one generic one that processes all of them each time any of them is edited).

Sorry for my ignorance and thank you for replying! Do you know if there is a guide on how to do the above?

There's no off-the-shelf solution. This will require a fairly sophisticated custom-made script to be developed and integrated into the file.
