Question

Fillable fields were not created

I created a chart with five columns and twenty lines.  When I went to convert the document into a fillable form, fillable fields were only created for the first column for all lines.  What did I do wrong and is there any easy way to create all of the other fillable fields?  Thanks

The fields detection wizard is far from perfect. You can take the fields it created and use the Create Multiple Fields command to generate the others, most likely. Just right-click them in Prepare Form mode and you'll see this option.

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out.

As you are creating a PDF form, please use steps suggested in the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/creating-distributing-pdf-forms.html

If that doesn't help, let us know how exactly you have added the columns and lines in the form. It would be helpful if you can share the complete workflow you did to create the fillable form and share the PDF form created with us. So, we can check it on our end.

Also, share the Acrobat and OS version you are using on the machine.

Let us know if you need any help.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
