Fillable form

I am creating a fillable PDF form and would like to have a popup of some kind that would show up when the person completing the form hovers over it.  The pop up will have additional information about the word they are hovering over.  Is that possible?

Also, the person completing the form might need to complete a form multiple times.  This would occur if the person has multiple products which I am requesting information on.  How do I allow them to complete as many of the form they need to?

Thanks very much for you help!

You can't have it both ways. If you don't want the user to be able to edit the value of the field and you want the tooltip to appear you need to use a button field with a label and a tooltip. The user will be able to click it, but nothing will happen when they do.

Set the field as read-only.

- Yes, it's called a Tooltip and you can set it for each field via its Properties (General tab).

- There's nothing special you need to do to allow it. Any PDF form can be re-used multiple times. If you want to facilitate it you can add a "Clear Form" button that will reset all the fields in the form to their default values.

Thanks very much for your response.  I do have the "definition" of the word

under Tool Tips (pic 1) but when I send the form out it allows the person

to change the word itself. (pic 2)

Perhaps the snippets below will help.

I can not figure out what I am doing wrong.

Your images did not come through. You can't post them via email. You need to reply via the forum and use the Insert Image command.

Also, the email includes your private details, which you should not post here. I'll remove them from the post above.
