Question

Fillable Form Field Not Saving My Edits

I have a fillable form that I have made. I filled it out and used the "save as" function to save my form.

One of these fillable boxes needs a correction to what I have previously typed. When I click in the field, it appears to let me change it. However, when I tab to the next field, it reverts back to the original text. All other fields will allow me to make changes. When I click in this field, it shows me what I changed it to. Any advice would be great on how to fix this.

Does the field have a Validation script attached to it? It could be rejecting the new value, if so.

Hi,

This typically happens if you copy a field. If two or more fields have the same name then the data reverts to the original instance.

Is this possibly the case?

To fix this ensure that fields have unique names.

Let us know how you go.

The field was copied when I originally made it, however it has been given a unique name. The form has multiple pages that are all the same, so all fields have original names that I gave them after duplicating the pages. No other pages seem to have this issue. I will delete and re-add the field in the original form to see if that helps in the future.
