Fillable Form Text Field changing text content when clicking in field

I have a fillable form and the text that is visible when you look at the form changes when you click in the field. It looks like perhaps old text is in the field but it won't let me remove what is showing up. If I click in the field and type it looks fine, but once I click somewhere else on the form the old text shows up and that is what prints.
