Fillable form with signature field

we created a fillable form in adobe pro and would like to fill it ourselves then send it to a customer to sign but we want only the signature field to stay active but all the rest of the fields locked or static so they cannot be changed. please advise

There are several options. Using a digital certificate to lock the form may not be your best option, depending on how you want the form signed.

One simple option is to flatten the form,

Another is to Select all the fields in "Prepare Form" mode and check the "Locked" checkbox on the field properties dialog.

This could also be done with a script.

Another option is to make this a Fill & Sign form and use the Adobe Sign service.

Add another signature field and set it to lock all other fields (except for the first signature field), then sign it and save the file.
