fillable forms

i have a 2 forms that i created that are fillable.  But when we upload them to our website, one form won't allow users to save the file and on the other file after the user saves the file it deletes all of the information they added and saves it blank.  Our programmer sent an article that wants me to click the "advanced" menu tab and then click "extend forms fill in & save in adobe reader" but i dont have the "advanced" menu tab.  I'm using Adobe Pro 2017.

thanks!

I think a more important question is if this is happening with Adobe Reader DC or are these users, who are reporting back saying that they can't open the file, using a web browser instead of Adobe Reader?

Hello! thanks for responding!  I'm not really sure how they are accessing the document, but I would assume they are just using a browser to go to our website and then clicking on the document.

Have you considered using Adobe Sign instead to publish a PDF form online as a webform?

Since it looks like nowadays more and more people opt to  do everything via web browsers, using Adobe Sign  would alleviate that problem for such users since they can fill in and sign documents via web browsers or mobile devices, and  it is not required from them to be subscribed to Acrobat.

The only drawback to Adobe Sign in this case is that the individual plan may be limited in features, but subscribing to a business plan will allow you to do this and more.
