Question

fillable forms submit button

I have a webhost one.com

I have made a fillable form and placed a submit button at the end of the form.

The URL was written in-mailto:info@st......com and I tried it out using my own gmail adress, and directly from the pdfh-no problem even thoug it was messy.

My problem is now that I want the pdf to open on my webpage by clicking on a another button. The pdf file opens and is fillable- so far so good. Then I want my client to submit to my working emailadress.

I click preview on the fillable form and am asked email, password and IMAP/SMTP for my webhosts server? In the boxes I wrote the number IMAP 993 and SMTP 465. Should I have written imap.one.com and send.one.com also ??? in front of the numbers??

Another question is how do I revise the IMAP/SMTP if needed. I cannot use the action button and it is as if acrobat has saved my first entries somewhere--but where??

This is not really related to Acrobat or the PDF file, but to the settings of your email server.

Also, do not open the file in a browser. It's better to load it in the application itself directly.

Thanks for the quick answer. I will get hold of my webmaster BUT you didnt quite answer my question.

When setting up the submit button, hitting "preview" I am  then asked to write the email adresse (ex info@stell----.com and password.

THEN I am asked to fill in the IMAP and SMTP. Do I write only the number ex 993 or do I write full out the IMAP ; ex. IMAP.one.com and then the number.

Same for the SMTP with send. to. one.com

It could be my setup in "preview" that is incorrect?
