Hi, I have a fillable pdf created with adobe acrobat pro dc.  I want the user to be able to highlight the text entered into field boxes but this is not enabled or not possible? Currently the highlight tool works on the actual form info, but not available on the text entered in the field boxes.

Can someone help?

thank you

Thanks for your reply, I've tried that but the text that is being entered won't accept highlight from comments section, only the text from the form itself can be highlighted (not the inputted answers).

You can't add comments in form fields.

This is how it works. Form fields are a completely different thing from comments and they don't interact with one another.

Not sure if you understand what I am asking.  I am looking for a way for the user to enter text into the fillable pdf and then mark some of that entered text with a highlight (in any way possible)!

Form text is rendered dynamically and doesn't respond to any form of persistent highlighting. All you can have is the usual insertion cursor marking/ selection. This functionality is not avialbale as long as you edit the form itself, though. The rest we can't know. You have not offered any system info or other details like language settings, formatting of your text inputs and so on. Simple input device problems can botch this stuff when e.g. the double-click timing is set to fast and fields are inadvertently reset everytime you click into them.
