Question

Fillable PDF issues

Created a fillable PDF in Acrobat (Edit Form) using Text Fields. The PDF is perfect on my end when I open it and type in the boxes, but my coworkers (the ones who need to use it) are having issues: font's inconsistent in sizes and color (randomly reverts to black instead of assigned blue in some boxes), alignments (assigned left/right/centered) are also randomly changing/inconsistent. I've double checked my fields (as I said, it looks perfect when I use it).

TRIED:

• saving it in various PDF formats

• read online to "click Close Form Editing" but can't find that option

• all Security settings are "Allowed"

• "Locked" Properties

PLEASE HELP 😞

Find out where (in what application) they're opening it. My guess is it's not Adobe Acrobat / Reader, but some third-party application, like inside a web browser, or using MS Reader or Apple Preview, all of which are buggy and could cause such issues to happen.

thank you, just had one coworker confirm they used Preview to fill it out. 🤦‍♂ I didn't even think that was possible in that program.
