Fillable PDF to Read Only, back to Fillable

Hi there need some more help thanks for being able to send a fillable PDF form as a read-only but still retain the editable version (if that makes sense) with the need to "prepare form" all the time.

Could some help with how to do this and it there is a script needed help with this too 🙂

One possible way of doing that is to lock all the fields by digitally signing the file, using a signature field. Clearing the signature will remove the lock. A less secure way is to set them as read-only.

Send a copy of the form.

@Bernd Alheit is correct. Keep the original for editing purposes. Make a copy, lock it down, and send that version out to the public.
