Final calculation is off by a value I cannot find in the fields that are being summed.

I have text fields that despite showing $0 are throwing off my final calculation. For example, my notes payable to this bank text field is the sum of the value in the secured and unsecured text fields below it. If I put $1 in secured notes payable and $1 in unsecured notes payable the notes payable totals $2 and my total liabilities field, which is a sum of multiple fields, shows the correct value of $2, but the net worth showes -$1 when it should be -$2.

To make matters more strange I can select any text field that I have a formula in by highlighting the $0 and hit delete/backspace and the net worth is corrected. The selected field can be from either the asset or liabilities side as long as it has a formula. These fields are all set to use the basic sum feature except for the secured and unsecured debt from Schedule E, but because I can choose any field that has a formula I do not believe it has anything to do with the fields that have a more advanced formula.
