Find, and Highlight words

Hello,

 

I'm trying to use the Find, Highlight, and Extract Words action from https://acrobatusers.com/actions-exchange/

 

It worked a few years ago but now for some reason, I installed it and it is just all grayed out no matter what I do.  Any suggestions? 

 

I need to be able to search for a word and then have them all highlighted in yellow.

    That Action was written a long time ago, for Acrobat X, which means it can be used in the current version of Acrobat, but not edited, which is of course a problem.

    I've copied the code over from the old version file (including the original comments by the author @Thom Parker), and created a new version of it that can be used in Acrobat XI and later.
