Hi Lars_Acrobat,
Thank you for reaching out.
Adobe Acrobat does not currently have a built‑in feature to automatically detect duplicate (identical) pages within a single PDF. The Compare Files tool only works between two separate PDFs, not within the same document. However, you may try the following steps:
- Open the PDF Document: Launch Adobe Acrobat and open the PDF file that contains the duplicate pages.
- Use the Organise Pages Tool:
- Go to the All Tools.
- Select Organise Pages from the available tools.
- Identify Duplicate Pages:
- In the Organise Pages view, you can visually inspect the thumbnails of the pages.
- Look for any pages that appear to be duplicates.
- Remove Duplicate Pages:
- Click on the thumbnail of the duplicate page you want to remove.
- Select the Delete option (often represented by a trash can icon) to remove the duplicate page.
- Save the Document: After removing the duplicates, go to File and select Save to save the changes to your PDF.
For more details on how to manage pages in Acrobat, you can refer to the following resource: Delete pages in PDFs.
You may share your suggestion about the feature directly with the product team via the following page: https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac.
Feel free to let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Meenakshi
