Finding PDF file.

I cannot find the PDF file created from a scanned paper document on a printer.

Scan another document and pay attention to where the Save As dialog is set to as the default (or last used) folder. That's probably where your missing file is also located.

The Save As dialog is not active so don't know when file is going. I scan a paper document through a printer. The document is scanned then Adobe closes.

Are you scanning it from within Acrobat? If so, the file might appear in the Recent Files list, under Menu.
