Question

"First Time User Ever!" Am using Acrobat Pro DC attempting to convert a pdf form to an e-form to upload to our (very small) school's website. On the first page students are to attach a passport sized photo. How do I create a field or box for them

I am converting a pdf form in Acrobat PRO DC for applicants to complete online at our church website.  The first page requires them to attach (with paper clip) a passport-sized photo.  Can I create a box that allows them to upload an image/photo from their laptop/computer using this software?

You can, but for it to work, the users will have to be using either Acrobat or Reader on Windows/Mac. Also, how do you expect the completed form will be returned to you, if you do?

Guess I"m going to need more help than I thought,so I"m pushing out my own deadline to figure this out a month.  For now, new students will have to print out forms, complete them then scan and send or hand them into the office in person.  I'm not knowledgeable enough to do this in time for this Monday's deadline to get the application forms online.  THanks for your answer.  I have some research to do.

It's really very easy. Just go to Tools - Forms - Prepare Form and then use the Add New Field tool to insert Image fields to your file. Done.
