I have created a web based RGB PDF file from Indesign (exported using RGB and images colours only) which when previewed in web browser it changes only one section of text colour from Green to Purple, and when downloaded and openned has no issue - Does anyone have any knowledge why this is happening and provide steps to fix? Many thanks!

Which browser is having issues? Can you upload a sample pdf so we can have a look? Is a specific font causing issues? If you are using a multi-color font, try replacing it with an Adobe font using an InDesign swatch color. As a work-around, you could try using the Output Preview tool to determine the type of color and valve, then use a preflight fixup to map that color with a new (similar) RGB color. Note, you will first need to duplicate the existing preflight fixup from the "Options" fly-out menu before you can edit it. (Tools> Print Production> Preflight)

Web browsers are not reliable PDF viewers.

What PDF plugin is used in the browser when this happens?
