Question

I have downloaded the font Technic from this site listed here: https://www.wfonts.com/font/technic

The download works and the font is available throughout my Windows system. I cannot use the font when I open any of the adobe products. It says that the characters are not supported or the characters just show up as boxes.

I have tried to clear the font cache and this did not work either. Are there any other steps I can take to make this work?

The internet is full of stolen fonts; this is not a free font, so this might be offered illegally by wfonts. Here is the official package of 10 fonts including Technic: https://www.linguistsoftware.com/tech.htm

It is also a much more recent version, I think.

However, there may be a deeper problem with these fonts. They appear to be for special use with a keyboard driver. It might be that they don't conform to modern Unicode standards.
