Hi,

PDFs are continuing to open in IE rather than Acrobat 2017. I have tried going into IE Add ons and disabling Acrobat reader but it persists. Is there any other way to force pdfs to open in Acrobat rather than the browser? Thanks.

Which Windows version are you using?

Have you tried associating the files that you are trying to open with the correct pdf handler/ viewer?

You  can check by right-clicking on the file , sele t properties and then select which program should be used as the default to open PDF files in windows.

Its Windows server 2012 r2 remote desktop services. I have disabled the users ability to right click. I am looking for a way to do this through a policy, registry or setting. I already tried disabling the add on but PDFs still open in a browser when they are listed on a web page ie. SharePoint.

Thanks

Just checking if you were able to resolve your issue and to remind you you that there is a new update with some fixes that was pushed out by Adobe today
