Forced to use Cloud Storage for Shared Reviews?

Hello All,

 

We have a user that just updated Acrobat and now their option to uncheck "Share for review using Adobe's cloud storage" is missing. This option would be unchecked so we can utilize Network Folder sharing of reviews.

 

Is Cloud Storage now being forced for Reviews or has the setting moved?

 

The version we are on: 2023.003.20201

I appreciate you sharing your findings. That's helpful. This means the option was unavailable for Acrobat New UI. 

Allow us some time to check it with the engineering team to confirm if there's a was to bring it back in New UI.

Found that you can go to View > Disable New Acrobat. This will revert to the normal Acrobat (same version) and you will have the option to uncheck "Share for review using Adobe's cloud storage".

Hopefully, Adobe isn't killing off this feature but might be time to look at changing how to process Reviews.

This is only happening on macOS devices, Windows appears to be unaffected.

Thank you for reporting this to us. 

We did check the same at our end and could figure out that Windows machines are working fine, and on Mac OS's latest version, we have the same preferences as before. 

To investigate it further, please help us with the following details-

1- your current Mac OS version.

2- screenshot of the Acrobat version
