Forged Error Message

Is the attached Errror Message Genuine?

I I think the layout is wrong, and given ADOBE has very strict polices about how its registered trademarks are to be used to ensure genuine use, The first line of text should start Adobe Acrobat and not simply Acrobat, am I correct, and that missing word and the layout of the text, shows that the message has been fogged|?

Hi Roger29637562kypm,

Thank you for reaching out.

Could you please confirm how did you get the error message?

Are you opening the PDF from the Acrobat application? Share the steps you do to confirm.

Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the full window?

Thanks,

Meenakshi

The other party that is claiming that the file has not been possible to open claim that image is a screen shot but that is all they presenbted which is another reason we think they have just fabriacted  that message

Why would someone bother to do that? It's much easier to intentionally damage the file (by opening it with a plain-text editor and deleting a bunch of its contents, for example) and then try to open it, which would result in a real error message, than to fake the error message itself.

Ask them for a video of them downloading the file you sent and then opening it directly in Acrobat.

No, this is genuine. There's no need to specify the full application's name when it's a message within that application.
