Form field calendar

I have a pdf form created with Adobe Acrobat that has a date field. In Acrobat the field also allows a dropdown to appear with a calendar date selector. When I open the document in other programs like AdobeAcrobat Online, which is the Chrome plugin for pdf documents, the dropdown is not available. Is there a way to have the calendar active? Is there javascript that can be added to Properties/Format to allow it to show with other programs.  I have tried MagicDate but it doesn't seem to work with the current version of Acrobat Pro

MagicDate works in the actual versions of Adobe Acrobat DC and Acrobat Reader DC.

I am probably incorporating MagicDate incorrectly.  I have tried copying from MagicDate_JavaScript_Date_Picker.pdf but it is not working.  When I open MagicDate_JavaScript_Date_Picker as a form and look for the code, I don't see any there.  I have added MagicDate_JavaScript_Date_Picker.pdf to my document and when I open it in Acrobat Pro, I get an error message and the page is blank.  Any advice?
