Forms: How to make text filled in a field not visible?

I made a form, but after persons fill it and save it under their name and return it to me, I see a blank form. Only after clicking on a field the text in that field is visible. I want to see the complete filled form (like I used to in earlier versions).

Where did I go wrong?

Nowhere. The end-user did when they used Apple Preview (most likely) to fill in the form. That application is buggy and is known to cause this issue.

The fix for the file you got is to export the form data to a text file and then import it back into the file.

The long-term solution is to instruct the users to only use Adobe Acrobat or Reader to fill in the form.
