Forms - Text Box Properties Not Responding Correctly - Font Color

In my forms text box, I'm having difficulty changing the font color. For this particular form, I've used the feature many times in the appearance section of the properties dialogue, changing the text color back and forth between red and black as needed. But this time when I tried to change from red back to black, it stays just stays red. It's simply not responding correctly. I've tried many clearing the formatting, changing to different colors, changing the font size, etc. Nothing reverts the color back to black.

Is their a repair or reset feature?

Now, I'm having success by: 1) deleting the cell contents; 2) going back to properties and re-changing the color to black; and 3) then re-typing the cell contents from scratch. With this method, the font now appears correctly in black. A bit of extra work, but works. It appears the problem was the old color was sticking to the text in some fashion. It took getting rid of that text before properties could once again dictate.
