Forward Slashes Appear When I Type Ones

Example: When I try to change 02/28/25 to 03/31/25 in Edit, I get this: 03/3//25

You can imagine the frustration. Please help.

I don't see Text Field Properties.

Text field properties is under Form editing tools, so that probably won't help you if your type is not a form. Your pdf might have fonts that are not properly embedded. Try running a preflight fixup, then try to edit. Tools> Print Production> Preflight> Fixups.

Thank you. Preflight said there were no errors. Someone discovered changing the font to Microsoft Sans Serif works, as long as it isn't one with numbers on the end like Microsoft Sans Serif-4028. I need to change the font every time I click on a cell, because selecting that font as the default doesn't make it the default, but having the ability to type ones again is extremely helpful.
