fraud detect

Hi team! Are there any options within adobe to detect modifications that have been made to a document? I have heard the term of Audit Report thrown around, which would give you the history of the doc, and with which you may be able to determine fraudulent activity. How to you get access to this, is this on pro only? Also, are there any other features that would be able to detect fraudulent activity/modifications on a doc via Adobe?
Any help appreciated! ):)

Hello,

I hope you're doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.

As our community experts correctly mentioned, you can check the PDF properties to see if it has been edited. Open the document, go to File > Properties, then navigate to the "Description" tab where you can see the "Creation Date" and "Modified Date"

Key points:
  • Access properties: Go to "File > Properties" in Acrobat.
  • Check "Description" tab: This tab displays the creation and modification dates of the PDF.
  • Date comparison: If the "Modified Date" is later than the "Creation Date", the PDF has been edited. See this aritcle for more information: https://adobe.ly/3EZObHv

I hope this help.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.

Hi @Astonished_Beekeeper1128
The discussion topic below may help with your question as it is similar - How to check if PDF was edited or not.

As mentioned in the above, having the document digitally signed would add further protection.
