Full Screen Mode Issues

Out of the blue, my Adobe Acrobat Pro DC started opening all documents in full screen mode.  Prior to that it was giving me this message "This document is trying to put acrobat in full screen mode, which takes over your screen.  In this mode, it is possible to present documents that look like other applications, including applications that request your personal information.  Would you like to allow."  yes or no and remember my choice.  It will only keep your choice for that document.  Problem is - this option/question/setting is causing issues in another program we use (OnBase) when we sweep the documents over to index them to a patient's chart.  I cannot figure out how to turn full screen mode off permanently and how to get rid of this message.  It also has an X in the top right of the document that does nothing when you click on it as well as a left and right arrow at the bottom of the document.  HELP!!!
