I have created a pdf that originally was over 100 meg of my artwork.  I've been able to reduce it to 4.9 meg, but need to get it under 4megs.  Can someone offer assistance as to how that is achieved in adobe acrobat?

    1. Add and/or open the Optimize PDF tool
    2.  Click on Advanced Optimization option on top
    3. Click the Audit Space Usage button

This will tell you what is taking up space in the PDF. Nine times out of ten, it is images.

Adjust your image settings as desired. A lot depends on what settings the PDF was created with.

Note: I prefer going back to the original document and re-making the PDF with modified settings. I seem to get better results.

I agree with David. If possible, make a new PDF from your original document and modify your settings there. What is your source application?
