Get acrobat to open files in new window, not in tab. and second pdf taks 15 seconds to open.

after installing og acrobat pro on new pc i get pdfs in tabs i acrobat and i like it to make a new window for each on.

 

i cant find this option inn my version (2023.006.20360 64 bit), anyone knows how i can change it.

 

if i open my first pdf acrobat starts right away. when i try to open a second on it taks 15 seconds before it come as a second tab in acrobat. any ideas her?

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

 

The issue of opening the PDF in the window is known to us and our engineering team is working on it. The fix will be available in the future updates.

 

Also, as described, the second PDF is taking some time to open, please try to repair the installation (Win Only) from the help menu and reboot the computer once, and see if that works.

 

For testing purposes, you may try to turn off the protected mode. Go to Preferences (Ctrl, Cmd + K) > Enhanced Security > Uncheck 'Enable Protected mode at startup' > Click OK and reboot the application.
Note: Please turn on the security after testing to avoid any security risks.
