Getting a Signature from a touch-screen device with a stylus

We currently use:

Adobe Acrobat XI

Topaz signature pads

Laptops that DO NOT have touch screen or Pen/Stylus input.

This all works, but we are considering moving to:

Same Software

Laptops/Tablets that have Touch Screens, Microsoft Pen Support, Active Styli.

I want to insure that I will be able to "skip the signature pad," and just click on the signature field in the form and have the customer sign "with the stylus" on the screen.

Has anyone done this?
