Getting message that my legitimate Adobe Acrobat DC Pro license is illegitimate

I am installing my legitimate Adobe Acrobat DC Pro software on my laptop. I already have it installed on my iMac. License allows installation on two computers as long as not being used at same time. When tried using for first time, asked to sign in to Adobe and enter serial number again. Received message telling me serial number has been deactivated as software found to be illegitimate. It is not. Purchased it on Amazon.com and have been using it for a couple of years. Of course, Adobe support not available now. Has anyone else had this issue? How do I fix this problem?

I did not buy from third parties on Amazon Marketplace. I purchased from Amazon.com directly. There's a big difference. Amazon.com is a reputable seller. When you buy from third parties on Amazon Marketplace, you don't know who you're buying from.
