I got new computer. I want to deactive license on old computer and reactive on new computer. Why the heck don't they make it easier? Made the mistake, I guess, of uninstalling app on my old computer. Now can't go any further. Please help. It shouldn't take 2 hours to do this little chore.

I'm not sure, but I also have the problem where after I deactivated one of my computers and uninstalled it on my laptop, it won't let me download and reactivate a new computer with the same subscription. I've been working with Adobe tech for days trying to get them to let me download the program.  They have tried all sorts of stuff (clearing up old adobe installs, caches, etc and still they cannot get the subscription to load.  I've even copied the .dmg file from my other mac and tried to reload it, and it won't let me.  Gosh these programs are too complicated and why oh why can't they just have a easy download?

I thought all were subscription, even the 'purchased' ones, which are good for one year. My subscription that I pay for each month, is a yearly subscription that renews itself every year.

Your best bet would probably work with customer support. As I'm doing still.  (head shake).

WiseTires, is that applicable to permanent licenses? I had thought this an option only for subscriptions. If this is the case it could have saved effort for countless visitors to these forums over the years.

Sign into your account on adobe.com.  Click to manage your plan.  On the right side, it shows what computer you have your programs 'activated' on.  Click on link to deactivate your computer, which ever it is that you want to deactivate.

I got fed up with customer support not responding and sending me multiple open case actions.  I finally got a program for OpenOffice for Mac, and some extra software they had and will install it.  I'm tired of all this run around with the expensive Adobe software.  I suggest you try it also.  It is free.Apache OpenOffice - Official Download

Ok, for a permanent Acrobat DC:

* You can reinstall, then deactivate from the Help menu

* You can install to a second computer without formality (but still should think ahead)

* You can contact Adobe Customer Service and ask for an "activation count reset".  (Be sure to use these exact words early on).

Thanks. Is that the subscription, the permanent license, or a volume license of some kind?
