blue background grid lines have appeared in my adobe DC.  How do I remove them for easier reading?

In the preferences disable the transparency grid.

The grid lines you are referring above, are those lines appeared while viewing the pdf within Acrobat/Reader DC or you tried to edit or make changes to the file?
