Grouping comments sorted by type

Hi, when I sort comments by type in the comments panel, I now see multiple groups of the same type of comment. In the past, it would show one group for each type of comment (e.g. Line, Circle, Textbox) so I used to be able to easily collapse or expand the group for all Circle comments for example. Any idea how to fix this?

I have found if I sort several times by various items -- for exampte sort by type, then sort by check mark status, then sort by type, then sort by check mark status, then sort by type -- when I collapse all to group the types, I only have one group of each type.  This is a real pain though.  Is this something Adobe is even trying to fix?
