Correct answer Dov Isaacs

I was unclear....Acrobat 7.0 Pro is  64 bit but acrobat distiller says no

OK, on behalf of Adobe, let me clear this up.

Absolutely no version of Acrobat was 64-bit prior to Acrobat DC (subscription) or Acrobat 2015 (perpetual license) on MacOS although there is part of the installer that is still 32-bit (to be replaced before the next release of MacOS). All current versions of Acrobat on MacOS are 64-bit (again, except for part of the installer).

There is currently no version of Acrobat that is 64-bit for Windows.

Curiously, version 10.1.1 is not Acrobat 7.

The software icon says Acrobat Pro 7.0 and when I click on 'About Acrobat' it says the version is 10.1.1

acrobat 7 is from 2004 and the icon isn't a reliable version indicator.  the about acrobat indicates your have acrobat x (from about 2010) and is a reliable indicator of your version.

there is no 64 bit update to acrobat 7 available now nor in the future.

you can pay for the latest acrobat subscription (https://creative.adobe.com/plans ) or perpetual license (Adobe products: desktop, web, and mobile applications | Adobe ).

I have the same issue, but I have Acrobat Pro DC Continuous Release, Version 2019.010.20069. I need a 64-bit upgrade and am unable to reach anyone in tech support at Adobe.

mac version is already 64bit.  the installer includes a 32 bit component so os 10.14 users see a warning that they can ignore.
