Having issues Acrobat DC - images disappear and hard to align text fields

Hi there,

I've been using Acrobat DC for creating templates for the past few months. It's been working fine but I've been facing a couple of issues recently:

1. The background image would disappear as I create the text fields on the template. I've tried reducing the image file and had no luck.

2. It's quite difficult to position or move the text field boxes. It would move about 5mm each time when I use the arrow keys on my keyboard. It used to move 1mm at a time previously which was easier to position. And when I move multiple boxes together they would all move at different amounts (some 5mm, 3mm etc) creating an uneven spacing between them.

I'm not sure if I've accidentally checked something allowing it to move by a greater amount. I have to manually reposition it using the field properties one at a time which is so time consuming. Am not sure how to bring it back to the previous settings?

Please let me know if anyone can help me out here.

Thank you

Aqeel

Go to View - Show/Hide - Rulers&Grids and tick off "Snap to Grid".

For #2, you likely have the snap to grid feature activated, so you just need to turn it off. I have no idea about #1. What exactly do you mean by "background image"? How did you create/add it to the PDF?

Hi, thank for replying. Is it possible to know how to uncheck the 'snap to grid feature' please.

For #1 I used an image as a background using the 'organize pages' feature. I've noticed it works fine for a 2 up layout but when I use a 4 up layout with an image in the background it plays up. And I have to replace the image several times in order to get my text positioned in the right place. Hope to hear from you soon.
